A Considered Choice｜ Home Decor ｜Wood and Brass Inlay Star Mancala

The Wood and Brass Inlay Star Mancala takes the same brass star inlay running through this season's serving boards and photo frames and builds an actual game around it, mango wood inlaid with brass and resin star details, complete with wood game pieces sized to fit each pocket.
At 12.65 inches long, it's sized for real play, not just display, though it's handsome enough to leave out on a coffee table between games. We like that it gives this season's brass star theme something to do beyond sit and look pretty — an actual game that gets played, packed away, and pulled back out, rather than a purely decorative object.
Leave it out on an ottoman for anyone to pick up during a slow afternoon between holiday gatherings, or set it up as a small activity station for kids and grown-ups alike while the rest of the house handles cooking and cleanup. Dust it with a soft cloth when it's not in active use, and it holds up to actual gameplay well past the holiday season, the kind of piece that earns its keep as entertainment rather than just as decor.
