A study in architectural elegance, Agave ‘Blue Glow’ brings sculptural beauty to dry gardens, containers, and modern landscape plantings. This handsome hybrid agave forms a beautifully symmetrical solitary rosette of chalky blue leaves, each one edged in fine red and yellow margins and tipped with a sharp terminal spine.

Also known as Blue Glow Agave, this slow-growing succulent is outstanding as a focal point in rock gardens, gravel beds, water-wise borders, patio containers, and Mediterranean-style plantings. Its clean form and luminous blue color pair beautifully with aloes, aeoniums, echeverias, ornamental grasses, silver foliage, and warm-toned flowers. Because it stays tidy and refined, it is especially useful where you want bold structure without a plant that sprawls everywhere.

Plant Agave ‘Blue Glow’ in full sun to light shade with sharply drained soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant, low maintenance, and happiest with minimal summer water. Protect from soggy soil for best performance. Explore more dramatic dry-garden favorites in our Agave collection.
