Booker's Bourbon 2022-04 Pinkie's Batch｜ Other Products

Pinkie's Batch is named for Booker Noe's mother, Margaret Beam Noe — Pinkie to everyone who knew her — and it's the softest-proofed Booker's in years at 122.4. Booker's is the uncut, unfiltered bourbon Booker Noe created in 1988, the first barrel-proof small batch on the market, and every quarterly release is a named batch with the age to the day on the label. Fred Noe, seventh-generation master distiller, blended 2022-04 — the last batch of 2022 — from the standard Beam mash bill of 77% corn, 13% rye, and 10% malted barley, entered at 125 proof in #4 char barrels, aged six years, ten months, and ten days, and bottled at 122.4 proof (61.2% ABV), non-chill filtered; the proof dropped below the entry proof during maturation, which happens when barrels sit lower in the rickhouse. The Whiskey Jug and Whiskey in My Wedding Ring both reviewed it in their year-end runs. Expect the Booker's signature — peanut, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and cinnamon heat — in a gentler, rounder register than the louder batches, with brown sugar, baking spice, and a medium-long warm finish that drinks easier than the number suggests. Honest note: Booker's batches vary by design and the price sits around $100; Pinkie's is the approachable one in 2022's set, the batch to hand a friend new to barrel proof. Neat with a splash, or a big cube. For Pinkie.Buy Booker's Bourbon 2022-04 Pinkie's Batch online with fast shipping right to your door.
